Power supply. This coffee table aquarium does require electric power outlets. Some customers have run them under carpets or used cord concealers to hide wires.

Fish feeding and cleaning. The table top is raised a bit from the base so there is enough space to feed the fish. As far as cleaning the tank or skimming the water is concerned, you would need to remove the table top. The upkeep is not really any different than a regular acrylic tank – be careful with scratching when moving the rocks inside. If it does get scratches you can always buff them out, there are special kits for acrylic aquariums for these purposes.

Tip: wash the pebbles before the first use.
